Background Information / history:
Evangeline was born into a family with many many problems and from a young age she was introduced to those problems first hand, she was aware that her mother was a working prostitute who took some strange white powder that she wasn't supposed to touch, or so her brother told her, and her Papa liked drinking the funny smelling liquid too much and didn't like them when they made too much noise...or played with their toys without asking, or did anything without asking him first, or if they did it anyway when he said no. Evangeline was always close to her brother and even though she didn't fully understand what was going on when she was smaller, she had a better idea as she grew up and tried to show Nick just how grateful she was for what he did for her.
As soon as the zombie apocalypse came, she knew that Nick would continue to take care of her, and they moved out of their home immediately when they found their parents to be infected, finding a new place to live in the block of flats nearby that had been evacuated earlier in that week.
